Het jaar 2005 is een speciaal jaar voor enkele Bollywood Khan’s. Zowel Aamir, Shah Rukh als Salman Khan vieren dit jaar hun 40-ste verjaardag. Vandaag is één van die grote Bollywood sterren jarig: Shah Rukh Khan wordt 40.
Shah Rukh Khan, ook bekend als SRK, is geboren op 2 november 1965 in de Indiase hoofdstad New Delhi. Hij komt uit een Moslim familie en is getrouwd met een Hindoe vrouw: Gauri Khan-Chibba. Samen hebben zij twee kinderen Aryan en Suhana Khan. Zijn film carriere startte in 1988 met een rol in de TV serie ‘Fauji’, maar zijn eerste Bollywood film was Deewana uit 1992.
